Where at? What color? House trained? Vet records up to date? My pup could use a companion. Any obedience/retrieving training? Got to know what I'm working with.

And I'm not being critical. Good job trying to help her find a home.

No training? I'm not looking for a top notch retriever for free, but what about simple training like sit/stay? What about manners? Does she jump up on people? Inside or outside dog? Will she go outside to pee or all over my carpet? And she will have to love riding in the truck.
If she will go in/out to pee and she can at least sit and doesn't jump all over people, I will take her. It will have to be this weekend before I can get her and I need all vet records/paperwork. I want a chocolate, but my wife wants a black. 1 way or the other, I'm gonna end up with 3 dogs.

I called him this morning and he said he was headed to a meeting. I called 6 times since lunch time, no answer or returned calls. I guess it wasn't meant to be. No biggie. Was just trying to keep a Lab out of the system. Good luck

Damn he approached me for help finding the dog a home. I know he's busy at work. We work for a propane company and right now we can't get the jobs done fast enough I'm hoping he called you last night.
I will speak with him again.

What type of rescuing can dog do? Simple like sniff rescuing or all out drop out of helicopters type rescuing.

My sister just had to put her 14yo female lab to sleep yesterday. I told her to give it a couple weeks and we'd go looking. She may be interested if he still has her. I don't know how she feels about puppy vs 2yo, but she is the epitome of an animal lover. I have never seen another human being care for an animal like she does.
