    go here and read about the excursions. I have a v10 2005. There are normally several modifications that nedd to be made to improve these things. There are common issues with spring capacity and steering slop that are very correctable fairly cheap. The 7.3 diesel will last forever if maintained, everbody knows that. The v10 is good if set up properly with the correct gear ratio , but it does likes to drink gas: 13 mpg tops.... but the 6.0 diesel will run circles around them both if it has ben "bullet proofed"

    plus, it is nice to park next to suburbans just to make them feel small.
