We got about 100 ducks in the swamp. They haven't really showed up to the big pond. Once I get better, I will get back to watching.

Gadwalls and some ducks that were bigger than the gadwalls but with the fading light and position we couldn't get a positive ID.

How about some drone video footage and send it to USFWS?

I've seen less ducks since all the flooding and nothing other than wood ducks lately.

Saw some decent groups fishing Saturday. Blottleds, teal, and bootlips.

Tamies suck, but the ducks are starting to show up.

With all the acorns in the swamp, I am quite surprised at the number of summer ducks I saw to day in one of my ponds....

I'm in anderson county. Rained 5 inches in the last couple of days. My neighbor across the street has a garden that is about 3/4 acre. Half of it is under water. A group of 7 gadwalls just circled it for 5 minutes and never landed. It was late enough that I had to walk out on the front porch and hear them to tell what they were. Very strange.

Been hunting next to the swamp for the past week, and it felt great listening to the woodies and mallards all morning.

Saw fifteen ring necks yesterday morning. Evening didn't hold much flight but the gadwall are piling up in the am. My motor should be in today and the boat is on its way as we speak. Dropped some parts off to send back to Texas and should have them repaired next week. Battery sharks processed my order yesterday and I can't wait. Ride this weekend after a blind build on the new rig.
