DT, as Jab3 pointed out the water is dropping so fast that by the time they got around to putting the closure in place the water would be gone. I live on Black River in Clarendon county and water has dropped over a foot since yesterday afternoon. By the first of next week it will be no different than during a wet fall/winter.
What's the point now? Couldn't time be better spent like looking into some of the additions to the tag bill that have been suggested?
Also, did you get clarification if closure would be for deer only or all game?
