The only people around my neck of the woods that are in favor of buck tags are the ones who never kill them. It's like they are consumed by the idea of big bucks but it never happens. They buy all the products, put in time, etc, but their approach is all wrong. You can take someone who consistently kills big bucks and put them on any tract of land in sc and they will kill a good one.

Well I have seen several people in favor of it that have killed several big bucks so that makes no sense. And that is incorrect the land you hunt has alot to do with it if the potenial isn't there then its not there. There is a reason why you see more big deer killed in some areas vs some other areas.

Nah...it's the other way around. I swear, the people wanting buck tags are always looking for the "trick" to kill a big deer. Let me let the "trick" out of the box....if you want to kill a big deer, you a.) have to know how to hunt, where to hunt, understand deer behavior, and put in the time or b.) get real lucky!
