Bought a spiral slicer off of Amazon to make zucchini noodles. Hell of a sub for spaghetti when you want an Italian meal.
Anyone else make them?

I have never heard of this. Do zucchini noodles taste good with spaghetti? Which model did you buy?
Bah! Humbug!
Have you tried spaghetti Squash? I just cut it in half, scrape the seeds, place in glass bowl with saran wrap on top with a little water for steam. Place it on 12 minutes, and take and scrape the insides, and it comes out looking just like spaghetti noodles. I've been substituting this for some time now.

the slampiece uses zucchini in 50% of our dinners it seems like....if not, then cauliflower
she's got a mandalin (sp) that slices thin strips that she's used in lasagna
i think the zucchini is better in spaghetti than the spaghetti squash
gal never cooked til we met, but that damn'd pinterest has turned a ho into a housewife
Had it last night. It's great.

We do the squash but I've considered a spiral slicer. I just don't need another damned kitchen gadget cluttering up the cabinets.

It tastes pretty good to me and it's quick for a meal. I cooked some grass fed beef meatballs last night and used a little pasta sauce and it was very filling.
Great way to get a good serving of veggies.
Spaghetti squash is good too. I use it for paleo spaghetti pie.

Make some zucchini noodles with fresh pesto sauce on medium high heat to crisp/sauté and blend the sauce.
Jam up.
Also we use them in shrimp scampi, I like them better than regular noodles because they soak up the wine sauce more.
You don't cook them like regular noodles, a quick toss on high heat and let it roll.
