There are two dog platforms on the side.... Access is from the rear hidden under the roof.
The framing on the front are six individual shooter boxes divided so they can be grassed to break up the opening for better concealment.
The hole where the blind is positioned is in the middle of 15 acres of corn.
There is approximately one acre of panic grass and wild millet that will be burned down.
It is positioned to hunt any north wind and there are two cypress trees front and center to create great amusement with kids and other lesser shots!

Cali...what's your reasoning for burning down the millet?

Slick open water but more importantly I don't wanna pull 50+ decoys with a pound of grass thatch attached to the lead!

They're 25x32.... Not as small as they appear.
I will do a partial flood sometime in late October, depending on weather and moon.

    Do what????

Barnyard grass heads are looking nice.

What is the reed looking grass mixed in with it? It's hard to tell without a seed head. Almost looks like Johnson grass without the head. Is it some kind of unwanted reed?

    It is a Panicum spp.
    Good stuff introduced by ducks....
The tall stuff in the background and behind the blind is plumegrass.

Getting close and it's crunch time!
Have to add the roof, finish a little siding, the 2nd dog ramp, and some finishing touches before brushing.
Hopefully next weekend I'm done and flooding up by the 1st at the latest.
