"run and gun guide service"
Pretty good. Sounds old school.
The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Sturgill Simpson is The Man. Nobody currently "popular" in Nashville is fit to shine his shoes.
"Pain, or damage don't end the world — or despair, or fu**in' beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, ......and give some back." -Al Swearingen
Was pointed in Sturgill's direction last week. One hell of an artist.

I have killed many a liquor drink with his tunes playing in the background.
Reminds me of Jamey Johnson
He is bad ass. Check out Chris Stapleton too!
Legit.
The songs in the above video must be new. I have both of his albums, and none are on either.
"Some high society lady says is your horse outside, no ma'am he's between my legs, but you're too fat to ride" Hank Jr
I regularly dial Sturgill up on the Ford Sync via Pandora. He gets real country filler from the likes of Waylon, Cash, Merle, Hank Jr., Jones, Jamey Johnson, REK, and the Steeldrivers.
Good stuff.

I thought you've heard of Sturgill already BB ... Someone here turned me onto his music over a year ago, maybe 2 years now, I have his CD's and even records for the player in my living room.
Chris Knight is pretty good too, along with Ryan Bigham.
Check out Whiskey Myers as well.

I'll tell you who surprised me and that was Levon Helm. He rose to the very top with The Band. Not bad for a poor country boy raised in Turkey Scratch Arkansas. He got throat cancer in 1999, beat it and came back with the song and album 'Poor Old Dirt Farmer', which won an Emmy. His voice was different and he looked kinda bad but he came back to his musical roots and was on his way back to the top. He was also in a bunch of movies as a character actor. He played the gunsmith in the movie 'The Shooter'. Then his throat cancer came back and he died in 2012.
He went from this:
To this:
This is good too:
