    Default 2016 havoc 553 DB help with set up

    Just but a havoc 553 DB model with a cmc t&t plate and will
    Be putting a rebuilt 84 yam 40 on the back and looking for advice on best set up, want as much speed as possible but will be carrying loads during duck season so still want to be able to come out of the hole

    That setup alone should jump out the hole bud... Not sure how much of a jump ur looking for.... I'm as ancy as you probably are.... I just had a havoc built, 1756 with a 70yamaha, should be done anyday.... I can't wait to get past my 8hr breaking period..... Let me know how ur holeshot turns out.... I'm excited to know

    Get the motor up as high as you can with a Yamaha black stainless without it slipping bad and you'll have a plenty fast boat with some hole shot to spare.
