I killed my first deer with stuff that smell like vanilla. Smelt so good I believe I could have drank it.

I know a fella that beats himself down with a fresh cut cedar limb before going in the woods.

I spray scent killer, always have i have something new every year it seems like nothing real expensive though. Preferably smelling like dirt, or earth. I also break a cedar limb or pine limb and rub it all over me. My dad and grandad always did it so i do as well. But i still hunt the wind and climb as high as i can if in a climber.

Hunt the wind, get up high, hang your clothes outside, yada yada. I do all that but that ain't what you're asking. I use 3D Evolve deodorant the morning of a hunt and spray down liberally just before a hunt. I wash my duds a couple times a year in 3D washing machine stuff.

I made that Field & Stream homemade scent killer off Archerytalk one year and it worked okay I guess. Easy to just buy a bottle of whatever too. Its all about the same.

I use dead down wind but also let my clothes hang out side most of the time unless they need to be washed. I've started using that mckenzie scent duffle also where you put pine needles or what ever in one side and a fan pulls the scent across your clothes

I climb high as possible. used to try my damndest to hunt the wind, but I've hunted every part of this state and never hunted a place where the wind didn't swirl.

I use the no scent soaps, deodorant, and wash my clothes in No Scent. Put them in a bag before hunting. Hot as it is now, nothing is going to work like using the wind, you're going to sweat no matter what. Lay off the garlic and other highly spiced foods too. I never bother with the spray on stuff, if you haven't taken care of the source, it isn't going to help much.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Scent killer gold spray and keep clothes outside. I also use the detergent and soap. Vanilla extract has helped me kill a few deer as well
