    Default Clover food plot help

Planted a food plot last fall with oats and clover. Everything came up but of course the oats took over. Theory was that the oats would die out and clover would take over this year. I have not been able to make it back to this small piece of property till today. The clover took over well but the plot is littered in what i would assume is other broad leaf weeds. Is there anything i can do to control the weeds now? Future things i can do to help maintain this plot now? Never had the time to get back because of my daughter being born and just trying to play catch up.

Mow it will take care of the broad leaf.you don't want to mow it all the way down just knock the top 1/3 off.

Had the same problem. Mix 4 oz of slay and 1 pint of arrest max ( both made by whitetail institute) with 15 gallons of water and spray. Do this after mowing just like duckman #1 said

Don't spray weeds that have just been mowed.
