    Default Charleston eating.

My fiancé and I are eloping to charleston this coming Wednesday. Random I know but we wont get into that. The important thing to note is that I don't have to pay for an expensive ass wedding.

Now on to the important part. Where can we eat that's decent? Don't want high priced snobby food, but probably not a cheeseburger joint either.

    Help me out.

The wife and I historically have liked Carolina's. There are a lot of good options. On the other end of the spectrum, make a trip if you have time out to Seewee's. It's a hole in the wall, but good eats. Not what I would consider wedding-night nice by any stretch.

Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

Oh I don't mind spending money on the meal at all. We just don't care for the snobby atmosphere.

It's your wedding...you should probably put on a tie and eat somewhere decent.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

The Lot on James Island. Really good food without the snobby atmosphere.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    This.

If you both like likker and meat and want somewhere you can go in a pair of shorts and a decent shirt, Home Team BBQ isn't a bad option. Their collards and smoked wings are some of the best I've had and you get a few game changers in you it'll make for an interesting night.

If you want a really good authentic Italian meal, hit Al Di La on Savannah Highway. As good as the better restaurants downtown, but reasonably priced. Only a few blocks across the bridge in W Ashley. Cypress is great downtown, as well as a bunch of places on upper King Street. If you eat downtown, Friday and Saturday nights will get crowded quickly.
