Where is that? Those are some pigs no doubt. I just got into fly fishing a couple years ago and love it. Always looking for new water. Great pics thanks for sharing!

I've got all/most of the gear, and several rods and reels of various sizes and styles, but it's been years since I've been in the water and have probably forgotten by now more than I ever knew. Looking forward to getting back to it one of these days.

as much as I love to eat trout of any kind, I need to quit duck hunting and just trout fish. I'd probably be better off

Beautiful pictures YB. Brook trout are like Christmas ornaments to me, same as wood ducks. We don't eat much trout these days and if I did I'd just hit stocked streams with salmon egg patterns. We pounded those through the 80s till we became fly fishing "purists" and started focusing more on wild trout. Not a thing wrong with eating trout though. For wood ducks I did the bacon wrap grilled deal a few times to start with. Then I got my Wife to double batter them (buttermilk/doctored up flour and repeat) and fry them. Then I started keeping the thighs and legs. Breast fillets are awesome fried and the thighs/legs bring back sweet memories of fried quail legs I ate as a kid, just more of it. Quail and doves were a winter staple at home growing up and since it's more rare now so it sends me back.

It ain't always been so successful, I just take a lot of pictures. There's countless hours building up this collection. I also have some old stocker fishing pictures I'll scan and post up later with a skinny redneck in rubber waders.
