I grew up not too far from Memphis and its not much better than Chicago. It needs to be burned to the ground.

Talk to a guy yesterday that lives on Confederate Dr. in Lancaster, and I made a half hearted joke about the "Cowards in the Capitol" would be wanting to change the name of his road before long. He responded with, "we recieved a letter in the mail a few days ago that the name was being changed"! They have the option to attend a hearing to voice their opinion, or they can go ahead and notify everyone of an address change for their home.

This is what happens when you do things in an emotional, poorly thought out manner. Even when one endeavors to do the "right thing", he needs to use his brain in how he goes about it.

Doing the right thing in the wrong manner is tantamount to doing the wrong thing.

I have said it before, it is not so much what the GA did, as it was how they went about it. Thousands of folks tried to tell them, but they were hell bent on bringing the flag down NOW, thus demonizing it and all who view it as a symbol of heritage.

They have now made potential lynching victims of folks who view the flag as a symbol of "Heritage not Hate". If anyone gets hurt in this mess, they bear much of the responsibility.
