    Default Spraying question

My flowers are getting too weedy. I want to spray something that will last. I bought RM43 from Agri-Supply. It is 43% gly and .78% Imazapyr.

The directions say it prevent weed up to 1 year.

The lady at the store said it would be safe to spray without affecting next years sunflowers. What do you think?

Also still have some green leaves but about 1/2 of the leaves are turning black. Is there any affect on the seeds like shattering?

    spray away.

IMO, the key is getting the spray past the leaves. if you have too many leaves, you arent gonna hit the weeds well. you have a highboy?

I get 21 ft of coverage at that angle. My field is narrow so I can get most of it from the edges. Then I can get my mexican (me) to hand spray the middle or run over a few flowers.

I'm more worried about the ground being sterile next planting season.

If your concerned just cut the solution in half and add a gly based product in for the other half. The Imazapyr, isopropyl amine salt is the long acting ingredient.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

I'd start by spraying something on that house and maybe pressure washing it. Filthy politicians, smdh! lol

    First, I trust toofer.

Second it will be tough washing the natural grain out of the marble.

My apologies, I'm too poor to know what Marble on the exterior of a house looks like. You know it's not everyday you see that. SMDH.

    Well it never needs painting.

The walls are granite and all trim is marble. There is not a piece of wood anywhere on exterior.

When you buy it by the tractor trailer load direct from factory in China, it is CHEAP. The granite was the same price as oversized brick. The marble was shipped to China from Spain and cut as specified. It was shipped to America and hauled to my house. The marble columns were cheaper than wood.

It cost more to install but never needs painting.

10 tractor trailer loads of stone. Flamed, honed, polished, and rock face. I chose very economical colors.
Even the pool deck is granite. It was cheaper than everything but concrete.

I mounted one of these on the back of my sprayer. I highly recommend it. You can close off one side if needed and you will not breathe nearly as much chemical when you are spraying if it is behind you. IMG_0218.jpg

Clarification: I meant for spraying the dove field. Not the house.
