i am going in between buying a benelli super black eagle and the m2. I am wondering if the 3.5 balistics are worth spending the extra money for the super black eagle

I'll say that if you plan on shooting alot of steel, get the 3.5. Especially if you like to shoot Canada geese, Specklebellies etc. The SBE 2 will give you the knockdown needed with steel in the #2's, #1's, BB, and BBB in 3.5" at good distances.
I would say that if you are into primarily ducks, the M2 would be the better choice. If you can afford to shoot the Tungsten-Iron loads on the market, you should have it covered with the M2. Glad to hear you are shooting the inertia-recoil variety. Good luck with your choice.

Ziggy, if you take a look at the stoeger auto shotguns they are only $349 camo in 3 inch. I am not a stoeger fan but the gun is the old benelli m1,l inertia and all. They bought benelli's old machines. I looked at one the other day, that is a heck of a deal.
