    Default Absolute Jewel

I got this trumpet a few weeks ago from our local John Dangerfield out of Orangeburg. She is an absolute beauty that will make some of the sweetest sounds out of any trumpet to date. If anyone wants one you better get on his list.......it's a good year right now.

Johns a great guy and makes one of the best IMO.

I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

Talked to John this afternoon about some stuff. He is an excellent call builder. His trumpets are top notch. He does have a wait but man they are worth it.

John got me involved with ODF. This is a matching set of cocobola and buffalo horn he made a father and son that we met through ODF. The son, Austin was fighting brain tumors for the third time in his life. The father and son are joined at the hip. The ends grains matching up are to represent that for both of them.

Great photo. He told me about that hunt. Was that the one with 10 strutters in the field at one time?

Actually that was a few mornings after we saw all those strutters, and figured 'em out. Those two were the two that ruled a certain corner. Now that there is only 8 strutters, that spot should be a pretty lively place.

BTW, check out his Cocus (sp) wood if you get a chance, it is flat nasty, and good looking.
