What's to keep someone from fishing a Friday and sat. Sat their fish day. Keep fish iced down and weigh everything on sat. I hope not but it could happen. Good luck. Yal won the Edisto and we were second. Hope we reverse this time.

Thing is everyone in the Calcutta knows everyone else, it would be tough to cheat, Richard isn't gonna put up with any shit either.
We looked at it as big fish is usually luck and its always been a bragging right/fun tournament, the most weight calcutta kept the high speeding at bay too.

True, but biggest 5 or 10 fish wouldn't promote keeping fish that should otherwise be let go. I'm not sure I like the idea of people keeping 20 peanuts just to just in case that extra 40 lbs might help them win.

I know of one boat that caught much more than that, but sadly one of the crew members forgot to send the check for the aggregate Calcutta!
