Thing is everyone in the Calcutta knows everyone else, it would be tough to cheat, Richard isn't gonna put up with any shit either.
We looked at it as big fish is usually luck and its always been a bragging right/fun tournament, the most weight calcutta kept the high speeding at bay too.

I agree buckpro One big fish is mostly luck. One big hoo will win every time.

True, but biggest 5 or 10 fish wouldn't promote keeping fish that should otherwise be let go. I'm not sure I like the idea of people keeping 20 peanuts just to just in case that extra 40 lbs might help them win.

What's wrong with 20 peanuts? If you don't keep them someone else will.

43 pound hoo is leading. We fished today. Had a great day loaded the boat but didn't make it back in time. 386 pounds leading the Calcutta.

I know of one boat that caught much more than that, but sadly one of the crew members forgot to send the check for the aggregate Calcutta!
