    Thanks Murray. There was no release of grass carp in 2014 so that might explain the lack of interest/comments in 2014.

    The vallisneria (eel grass) is coming back. It's on the bottom, but needs to be allowed to grow. There's an estimated 93k fish in the system right now.
    It will be years before those fish die off.
    Pray that low water comes again to allow the vegetation to boom this summer.
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    It seems Bo didn't want to print that nearly 17k acres of native vegetation was eliminated in a 3 year period by overstocking carp.
