    I'll be there.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

DT, you should have stayed. It got good right after you left.

The Santee-Cooper portion of the 2015 Plan got a majority, but not the required 2/3 required to pass.

So the decision reverts to the DNR.

    There's still hope...

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

The 2015 Plan was passed with the exception of the Santee-Cooper portion.

Some changes to the Council may be on the horizon. That was proposed by multiple members of the Council during the meeting.

Indeed, it was not a wasted effort.

I concur. Bog could tell ya more, but a fella took some samples of carp from the lake and stated they were in poor health, indicating borderline starvation. One could only draw the conclusion that they are that way due to the lack of vegetation remaining for them to eat. And yet some of these folks still believe MORE carp need to be dropped in the lakes.

By the way the Goat Island Boat Club was there in full force pushing for more carp. I think the total count on duck hunters was 5.

anyone have any info on the little baby lilly pads in the lakes? i guess its the crested floating heart. they seem to be choking off some pretty significant sized areas. to my understanding, grass carp do not eat that stuff.

how soon and by what measures are they going to start napalming that stuff?>
