    If you can get to the back of it get a piece of 1/4" aluminum cut to the size of that area of deck. Attach it from the underside using Counter sunk stainless bolts. Then drill and tap the plate for easy on off of your light. No need to worry about rusty rivets, spinning toggle bolts etc.

    These will hold anything you want them to in aluminum. They make them in 1/4 inch as well and will hold trolling motor quick release pucks very well on un to a 80# thrust.

    These are that same thing that BigBallin showed earlier...... I'll have to say I never this type but they seem to be badass.... I may go this route.
