    Default worst luck!!

Soooo....hunted the opener, seen hundreds of birds flying about a mile high and on the opposite side of the lake all morning. Packed up a little early to salvage the day and try to catch a few bass. Thats when karma showed up for some reason, damn if the motor didnt blow about a half mile from the landing on my 1754 grizzly... hope that wasnt a sign for what the rest of the season will hold.

Not entirely the worst day. Motor coulda blowd up when u hit a stump and cracked the transom sending the grizzly to the murky depths with you barley escaping with your life and nothing left. Hate your motor blowed up, but just remember....it could always be worse....Do u know how/why it popped?

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

04' merc 40hp 2 stroke, its oil injected but i also mixed the gas...i got the boat for a steal so i kind of prepared myself for something like that to happen. I think my dad took it worse than i did...just hoping its not goin to need a lot of machine work so i can get it back in on the water before the next go around, i really dont want to go back to my 14' flat bottom
