A lot of the scissor blind guides in the sound use Privateer hulls.

I love the lines on them. Never rode in one.

That one is flat out sexy...and sold.

My Dad has had the 1800 Retiever and the 2002 Roamer II. They were both great boats, had some bow to knock down some spray and not pound but they were still basically flat bottom skiffs that didnt draft much.

I noticed an 18 by a customers house the other day, next time I am by there I am stopping by for an inquiry.

I've spent the last three hours scrolling through THT classifieds.

I need to delete this thread, or put myself on ignore. It, (this thread) is going to cost me money. Giving me new boat fever.

That trim tab in the back has seen better days. Probably wore out from that 150 trying to get that big sumbitch on plane.

Yup I have decided I need to find a Privateer Roamer 2002 Skiff and have a leaning post built like Cali's and a SeaCraft Console to put in it. Hang a Yamaha F150 on it with some trim tabs and I will be set.

SD, there is a pile of privateer hulls laying around Eastern NC in various stages of decay. Depending on the scope of your project, you could pick up what you are looking for rather cheap.

Your thoughts have got my wheels a turning as well.

Gotta be one of the self bailing hull, screw anything else.

We are in the process of building a shop at the house and my wife has a daily stroke when I add this and that to the project, if I bring up a second boat she may have the final stroke and I don't have near enough life insurance on her for that
