    Default Jone Brothers Bateau

I am thinking will be my next boat. Something around 20, maybe 23.

I'm in no hurry, just day dreaming more or less.

Truth is, I simply want more deck space.

I hunt a lot of decoys, I like to have room to walk, and my plan is to have at least two Ron Chapman Cottonmouths to tender in it.

Right now, I am only seeing the space advantages. Someone with a little experience in them, tell me some disadvantages.

I enjoy my speed in my HT, and have had it up to 10 miles off the beach, fishing near shore, rather comfortably and dry. I would like to have a boat that didnt ship water, and am rather tired of my HT doing it....sadly, I have read that the JBB is bad for it too.

So, give me some reviews. Help me get this off my mind, or make it for me.

They are great boats, but still a bathtub, the will pound you in a head sea.

Then she probably should have married a ski bum.

    You're right.

    You're gonna need more boats.

And the Jones Bros. are sweet. I just wish they had a little bit more freeboard.

The bigger the bathtub, the higher they make the sides.

I got the itch ever since I saw this one. Wish I would have sold mine and just grabbed and growled. http://www.thehulltruth.com/boats-sa...rice-drop.html

Boats are a lot like women.

They are all special in their own way, and I want them all. The Bateau Boat, has lots of floor space.

So does a Parker and it won't beat you like a rented mule like that Bateau looks like it would. I think you would severely limit yourself in the nearshore/big water category with that Carolina skiff with strakes. I had no problem getting skinny in my Parker and felt like I could have a dance party in front of the console.

I've always held a special place in my heart for a Parker as well.
