This. Several groups around in the Pee dee area.

Crossing my fingers. Come on cold weather.

The blackbirds never lie, but sometimes I don't hear them right. First frost was last night!

you think it was heavy enough to kill any aquatic veg, or the warmer water kept it off?

Haven't seen the first group of blackbirds in Greenville area? Not small group and certainly not a large group. Curious.

very slight in N Gville this morning. hood and cooler were frosted. temp was 37 at 745 when I rolled out. Heavy in 2 more weeks I bet, and haven't looked at a long term prediction.

oh, and the blackbirds haven't shown at my place either. I saw maybe 30 today in a group. Now, the crows, they were heavy a week or 10 days ago. Like, 75-100 in a flock, strange I tell ya

Hell we had around an inch of snow last Halloween Day.

If we don't get one soon, I'll be shooting mosquitos instead of ducks.
