    Default Corbin's Custom Radio Flyer

Started working on this a couple weeks ago, figured some here might think it was neat. Wanted to do something fun for a first "ride" for him, so I picked up a stock 1989 Radio Flyer wagon.

So far I have installed a 4" lift and 13" tires. The factory rear bracket wasn't beef enough so we bent a custom bracket.

    Onto the pics.

Didn't take any pics when I first got it, this was right after I took it apart.

    Old vs. New.

    Lil work

    New rear bracket

    Pic showing the 4" lift.

    Mock up

    Rolling chasis!

    Son loves it!!

Plans still include custom LED's underneath, powedercoat, a custom fabric seat and other things here and there.

    Haha!!

I was going to do a lowered one but since I sold my old truck, lifted was the route I wanted to go. I've seen some really cool lowered ones.

To be honest, I love it! Great idea too. Southern creativity at it's finest.

Is that him sitting in it? If so it's gonna be a while before he can use it on his own, so you got time to do some more work on it.

Be sure and hang a pair of those trailer hitch "balls" on that bad boy.

Yep, that's him. He'll be 4 months old tomorrow. Next up I'm going to make a custom seat cushion for it.

That thing needs a roll cage if you are going to be riding him in it.

I have an off the wall question. Why?
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Needs another inch in the front and take an inch or two out the back and throw on some mud grapplers.

Why not? Trucks not stock, boats not stock, why should my son have a stock, boring wagon?

I got a better question. Why not?

He'll be the only kid on the block with a bad ass little red wagon with a lift kit and mudders.

I'm not one to have a stock ride, figured I should customize one for my son too.

It'll still be red, does that count for something?

We used to be hell on those things at my grandparents' house. They had a 1/8 mile downhill driveway. They will flat out fly with 4 kids in them. I'm surprised none of us ever broke anything. The only way to stop was to run it up a bank on one side and jump into the hay field. The other alternative, was hitting a big ditch on the other side of the road.
