Default Interview With A Friend On His Book

I've been friends with Ron Richards for many years. The man loves to hunt ducks and geese, he lives for it. We are planning a hunt in Texas this winter if all goes well. Ron also lives in Nebraska now. He used to guide in Missouri back when he was younger. You won't meet a better man that loves his country, family and hunting with a true passion.

I have his book 'Heronk!' and it's a fun read. Like any first time novel by a beginning writer it could use some more editing but he gets his story told. It's more like he's talking telling the story of an old hand carved wooden goose decoy as it moves around, gets lost and floats the rivers, finds itself in an antiques shop and finally after many years comes full circle to be a working decoy again. The thing that makes the book unique is that it's all told from the decoy's perspective.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

"I here repeat, & would willingly proclaim, my unmitigated hatred to Yankee rule—to all political, social and business connections with Yankees, & to the perfidious, malignant, & vile Yankee race."
