I usually fry or grill but will make a good dove perlo with them also.
I've never had no fried dubs..i usually bacon pepper and dales
Nana used to roll um in milk roll um in flour wrap um in beacon and put um in the oven. I can taste um still and that was 26 years ago!

I like quail better... Doves are a poor substitute for eatn wild quail bird.... Fry, make gravy, serve over rice with broccoli on he side (add a little butter and lemon juice).
Please try to eat a vegetable now and then guys.
