How can this work?
I get the grafting part, that's easy to understand. But why don't the blooms cross-pollinate and mess up the flavor and even texture of the fruit?
When I planted my first garden years ago I planted my cucumbers too close to the cantaloupes. I ended up with cucumbers that tasted like cantaloupes and that was just plain nasty tasting and confusing.
So why don't these trees do that?
With different blooms that close together they are bound to get cross-pollinated either by bees or the wind.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
