    Default chufa question

I Have never messed with planting chufa before so i know very little about it. Is it to late to plant it if i can get it in the ground this weekend? I read 90 to 100 days to maturity so i know i will be cutting it close. Any tip would be appreciated. thanks

FYI - If you have hogs in the area you are wasting your time.

I planted 2 bags of chufa yesterday. Planted late hoping to avoid weed problems. Now all I need is rain.

I always plant about this time of the year. The plants have plenty of time to grow and you eliminate a lot of weed competition as well.
