    I generally shoot Kent 3" #2's.. Sometimes 2.75" #4's on teal or woodies. It works for me.

    i shoot lead 6s and they work just fine all you skybusters

    Steel 6's with a muzzle velocity of 1560fps, which is faster than most of the steel 6 loadings you can find, has a velocity of 611fps a 40yds and will penetrate less than an inch of gelatin. it has been determined that pellets need to penetrate at least 2 inches of gelatin to be lethal. gonna unknowingly cripple more birds than kill at that range. just sayin.

    Yep, and if you do connect, the meat will be full of #6 pellets.
