Is there any midlands bowfishin clubs? I kno I've heard about the low country one. Thanks.

Unless things have changed recently, there are 3 bowfising clubs in SC

Lowcountry, Palmetto, and Upstate.

Lowcountry and Palmetto mostly shoot Santee Lakes and Cooper River.
Upstate Club usually shoots Murray, Greenwood, Clarks Hill, Wateree, and Hartwell

MARCH 1- COOPER RIVER, CYPRESS GARDENS LANDING. BIG TEN FORMAT

APRIL 12- HATCHERY LANDING. TEN CARP + TEN CATFISH

MAY 3- SC STATE SHOOT. NUMBERS. DETAILS TO COME

JUNE 14- HATCHERY LANDING. 5 CARP + 5 OF ANY OTHER SPECIES

JULY 12- SWAP PARTNERS SHOOT. NUMBERS FORMAT. HILLS LANDING, NON TRAILERING

AUGUST 2- SANTEE SHOOTOUT- HILLS LANDING- BIG 20 12 HOUR SHOOT

SEPTEMBER 6- COOPER RIVER, CYPRESS GARDENS, NUMBERS




Upstate Schedule
March 8,L.Hartwell,Broyles landing,big 20 format($60 for members,$80 non members)

March 28(fri night) L.Wylie,South Point landing,combine with NC club big 10($60 per boat..we are waiving non member fee's since its a combined shoot)You will need to purchase a 2 day NC fishing Lic. and the reason for this is we are blasting off from a NC ramp so we can shoot 2 grass carp per boat.

March 22 GBA/UBC Benefit Tournament and Cook-Out for Bren Stone, Hartwell lake at Big Oaks (Hartwell Dam Recreational Area) All Proceeds will go to the Stone Family (We will post more details on this event soon)

April 5,Clarkhill classic/GBA state shoot combine, HWY 72 ramp/Dorn..we will draw for take off and leave from HWY 72 at 6PM and weigh/count at 8AM IF you are late you dont weigh/count.You have a choice between HWY 72 ramp and Dorn,no other ramps allowed.No Bows in boats 24hrs before the shoot.. This will be big 20/numbers BAA sanctioned.$200 per boat entry fee $25opt big fish pot,$10 big gar and $10 small fish pot(NO grass carp or Shad allowed)

April 19,L.Greenwood,New reedy river ramp..Big 15,10 carp 5 gar will be weighed

May 3,SC State shoot,more info to come on location..we will do big 20 for our club points

4 May 17 Cooper river Meeting: 7:30 pm Weigh-In: 2:00 am Big 10 & Gar-fest Points for each group
5 June 21 Rocks Pond Meeting: 7:30 pm Weigh-In: 3:00 am 5 gar,5 cats,5 mudfish, 5 carp,5 mullet, 5 shad
6 July 19 John C. Landing Meeting: 7:30 pm Weigh-In: 3:00 am Big 10
