    Default havoc/Edge boat Setups

Spent this afternoon running my new one (1756, 90 merc), really for the first time. Making some head way with the setup and was able to see 58 mph today with a 21 pitch alum round ear. i still have some playing to do and got my butt hole puckered up this afternoon when the prop let go and wanted to walk on me. The New eagle will be here this week, and should help out with bow lift, and with more cup in the prop, i hope not to have that problem again, i hope.

Have any of ya'll messed with the bottom of ya'lls boat to try and get more lift out of it?

Would any of ya'll want to get together before the poker run to help setup each other boats and get everything dialed in?

8 degree, was told that the 1756 could not be had with a pad.I have a hyd jackplate and at full bore, the gear case is about a 1" below boat. I have good water pressure, and the boat did OK. I am getting there, but am real curious about if any of y'all have taken some of the hook out.

Where did you run it? How did your boykins like the ride?

All I saw was the two dogs. When we passed you I said "I bet that boat will run."

I saw the boat when Tim bought it but I didn't look to see if it was a pad. It was a sharp boat

santeeswamper, have you had any problem getting yours to lift the bow enough? New prop will help out a lot, just wondering if you had to do any bottom mods.

Oh and to answer your question yes I have flipped my boat over. Didn't find much hook in mine. But I fixed them any ways. Where is the water spray coming out of the boat?

A prop will help a lot. But as I said in the other post ron hill is a good prop but will need some attention. A cleaver will be the fastest on that boat but for a load and fishing that won't cut it. So you loose a few mph and drop back to a semi cleaver if he offers that.

at full speed, just the back. Thinking of grinding down that thick weld just in the middle of the boat. I think i will want to hook in the sides for slower running.

The bead is there to keep the nose down. That's one of his trademarks. Took most of mine of and now the boat hops at part throttle if you trim it up. Trimmed neutral toward the positive side it bounces a couple times then balances out.

That's on a 12/20 cleaver also. Wait till you get a prop then set the boat up to that prop

i am staying away from the cleavers, i loved them when i ran a Bentz Craft, but with the Dia that i am able to turn on that 90 (ass lifts fine), i need more bow lift, wanted a chopper but could not wait for ron to cut one down, so i went with a eagle. Just doest have the ears on it, i will run it and start playing with it after i get a few good runs on it.
