    Default "Welding" Plastic?

    not sure if this is the right place to put this........
    I remember years back in auto body class we were shown something like welding plastic body parts that were cracked. I was just wondering if anybody knew about this or where I could have something "welded"?
    I have a brand new trolling motor that the head got cracked on. I cant order the part to replace and everything else is still great condition.
