Yup!! It's kinda hard to have a resurgence in "low populations" when you are whoring out the bull for a dollar .....and at that, a dollar that won't even been spent to help the wild turkey prosper in any way, shape, or form ....

Deception at it's best. As y'all often say here ..."spin it" anyway you want but in the end ...it's complete and utter bullshit

I'll ask my chaplain tomorrow. He was just telling me about some trapping going on in the lowcountry. I'll get clarification on where and when.

TX....where you can legally shoot turkeys under a feeder...

Maybe Texas ought to make some changes to their hunting regs....

I'm sure being allowed to shoot em under a feeder probably puts a substantial debt into their population .... Wow. What a sport and challenge that is

It's bullshit to have to pay $110 because your life jacket has a dime sized hole in the covering. But then again, this is dnr.

Isn't it just Rios that you can shoot with a rifle and at feeders in Texas? I think the Easterns have different regs in the counties they are restocking.

Absolutely do not have the slightest idea about that but one would think...that introducing easterns into rio territory ...at one point or another ...hybridization occurs. At that point, you'd need a biological test to determine

Is it not illegal to trap wild turkeys and sell them out of state? Or is that just a DNR thing? Can anybody do it?

I would imagine that without the proper permits, documentation it'd be a violation of the lacy act
