Default ...and the voice of the turtle....

The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle(dove) is heard in our land. - Song of Songs 2:12 (KJV)

Maybe I just haven't been watching and listening, or maybe it's all the ice, rain and cold wind we've had, but I haven't noticed the doves until today. This morning, at last, I saw a pair gliding and then heard the signature "cooing" in several directions. Could this be a harbinger of our long-anticipated Spring?

    I'm ready!
That the Tiger's roar may echo.....

I need this winter to get on out of here. Birds were definitely singing spring this weekend.

We had more doves on our dove field three weeks ago than at any point in the season...
