    Default HPS LIGHTS?

Thinking of buying some of the Econolight 150w hps to try and do some bowfishing this summer. Any pro's or con's to them? Should I look for larger 400w hps? Any help is appreciated

I'm prolly gonna tell you you need 400s but dunno where you gonna be fishing and how serious you wanna be. Generator size. Boat size. Seriousness. Etc.

    150s work....better than 500w halogen...pros....better than halogen, less wattage draw...cons....price and weight.

Are Cree LED's making inroads into bow fishing lights? I've got some submersible flounder gigging lights that use them and they are tits. They are so energy efficient you can get a bunch of lumens without the need for a generator. I've got a wading setup that's 1600 lumens and it will run about 5 hours on a game feeder battery in a fanny pack.

If you buy them can I borrow them for like 4-6 months during your off season? I want to grow some indoor tomatos.....
