Some of those places are nice, I wonder why they were abandoned?

The house on Holland Island succumbed to the waves several years ago. Most of the spots I seaduck hunt and fish in that area show as land on my older GPS.

Probably because the entire title on the webpage was "Beautiful" abandoned places of the world. I reckon Chernobyl ain't considered beautiful. Course neither was the mine in the first pictures. But it's all in the eye of the beholder I guess.

That should be a pretty good place to lay a spread and build a blind up now. Course I don't know a thing about that kind of big water hunting so I may be way off base.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of poon has been tapped inside some of those domes over the years.
