Anybody running a 556 MST Havoc?
Got a buddy with a 553 and 2 stroke 25 yami with cmc B/A and he runs low 30s
RK, they make a 1756, seen talks of them making an 18-20'. Pretty sure he will make whatever size you want.

Hahaha. I had deleted my post while you were typing. I found the 1756 online. Sucks that its only rated for a 50hp. My old 16ft Hyperlift was rated for a 50hp tiller and a 75hp with a console. I would think that a 1756 should be rated for at least a 70hp! I'd love to see a Havoc 1860 with pad and a 90hp tiller on it. That would be a bad mofo and I would have to guess would easily get into the very high 50's or low 60's for speed with minimal setup work.
What I need to do is find someone willing to sell one of the original 18ft Xpress Hyperlift hulls that was set up for a tiller motor! They made that hull in 16, 17, and 18 foot models but the 16ft is the only one I ever see.

Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL
A 17 will hold a 70. I have one
Any havoc will hold as big of a motor as you wanna hang on it. Coastguard makes them "rate" the HP. The transoms on these boats are the strongest I've ever seen on an aluminum boat. Ratings only mater if you wanna insure it
Being that I'm in the Coast Guard I think it would be in my best interest to conform to the rating plates. South Carolina isn't strict on enforcing the adherence to the manufacturers "suggested" maximum horsepower ratings but some states I visit are.
I grew up running a friends HT BugBuster with a 90hp Yamaha, an 8" jackplate, and Spinelli Bros racing prop. The boat was rated for a 25hp but was WAY more fun with the 90hp!!! That being said I'm way past that point in my life now. I need something that will run well empty, but more importantly that will haul a big load and be safe in rough water. I tend to find myself in some pretty big water these days during not so nice weather. Bigger is better as long as I have enough power to move it!
