I'm not even close to hardcore. I hunt hard for two weeks a year and I get it out of my system. But when I'm there, I want to enjoy myself. No need for drama. And being a dick will get you banished from the group, literally while we're out there.

If there aren't a lot of ducks and we have to work hard, I'm okay with that.

I feel like you're off your A-game today.

That would be the worst thing you could do is take a young untrained dog to NODAK. Nothing ruins a hunt for everybody fast than an unruly dog.

Fish, I'm sure QA's pup is a great meat dog. Only barks at dead wigeon, not Gadwall.

She's gotten really good at breasting them out for me on the way back to the blind. They've got some tooth marks in the meat, but I can salvage enough of it.

Glenn, you can come if you wear an Updyke shirt and pose with a limit of ducks.

We ran into some guys from MN who were operating out of something like a Lund boat. Pointy bow, don'tcha know.

Anyhoo, they put in at THE deepest lake I've ever seen out there, which is completely non typical. Most sloughs are pretty shallow. But this thing was off the charts. They had problems finding somewhere that they're decoy anchors would find the bottom. Comical. They didn't fire their gun all afternoon.

I could have scratched out a limit less than 1/2 mile from the hotel in a ditch.

And Glenn's been asked numerous times. Ignor his plea.

Saying stuff like that is going to upset Nitro...
