trolling motor repair

OK...so I sat down and tried to get some trolling motors working last night. I have a freaking graveyard of the bastards.

I took the foot off of one and it was full of water and corroded all to hell. I dont think that one will ever spin again so I moved on to #2. The second one isnt getting power. I went ahead and cut off the terminals (?) and hard wired it to the battery and still nothing. if you take the head cover off, i cant see a loose wire or anything. I honestly didnt know where to go from there...

anyone repair trolling motors locally (columbia area)? or anyone got any ideas of where to start??

To make that happen:

1. You need to chomp down on some steel shot and crack several teeth.

2. 2fer will make the doctor money needed to buy new trolling motors by crowning them and making your denture whole again.

If minnkota, take it to marc as mentioned above, if motor guide, tie brush to it and use for brush pile, then go buy a minnkota

Hydro Tech Marine might still work on trolling motors. They sure enough used to...

its a minnkota and I hate you people. Not sure where I get the rep of breaking shit. I'm sorry I actually WENT FISHING with this motor for a while. Maybe I should've just left it at home and it would still work.
