It is not our normal practice to promote our real estate listings on SCDUCKS and I don't expect that to change in the future. The readers of this site, however, need to know that this is on the open market. It has been in family hands since the 1930's. It is a 295 acre tract with about 250 underwater. The property line is the high water mark so the pond and swamp is private.
This tract needs to be purchased by someone who appreciates waterfowl habitat. Whether that is an individual or a public entity is to be determined.
Recently the large lake Wateree tract sold and a lot of people commented that they were glad that it was purchased by a conservation group. Consider this an opportunity to help get a very unique, historical property to the right buyer (individual or group). Thanks DJP
