    Default Coincidence?

Changing the oil in my 4 wheeler and it requires 2 quarts plus a 100th of a 3rd. I'm sure that was just by pure chance.

It's because of units. 2 Liters of oil = 2.11338 Quarts

A few different brands of oil actually makes 1 Liter bottles instead of Quarts

The other tenth of a quart usually doesn't drain out of the pan genius.

If it doesn't drain out of the pan then why would I add the extra?

You said you only added one hundredth instead of 11 hundredths. If I read that correctly then you didn't add any extra. And that's if it does take 2.11 quarts, I don't know your exact specs. That little bit of difference really is negligible.
