The crappie are slow as a seven year itch. These have picked up pretty good though.

Damn good eating!
The right to bear arms is the last form of defense against tyranny.
Fishing with the blind on it, I gotta a soft spot for hardcore muthafuckers !!
Good job, bean. Not what I wanted to hear about the slabs, but I'll take what I can get. Just spent 2 hours this weekend organizing my new crappie-designated tackle box. After Thursday I'll be off for a week to try to find 'em. If I happen upon the stripers, I will, in fact, retain a legal limit!!
Biggest problem with the crappie has been water clarity bc of the rain. Fish aren't doing a normal pattern long. Weather gets cold then warms up. I have fished on top of schools that have had lockjaw on all baits. It's been aggravating. Hoping it changes here at Murray. Gonna take a trip to either wateree or greenwood this weekend if I don't find some w loose lips this week here. Good luck!
Every fish harmed this past weekend was caught on the bottom with Kentucky rig. I hate fishing for them this way, but the water is 41...big ole shiny #2's and a 3/8 casting weight, drop her down to the bottom, tighten up.
I bet Lake murray is all kinda fucking red.
They are killing them at little river.

"Wow, often imitated but never duplicated. No one can do it like the master. My hat is off to you DRDUCK!"
Greenwood is very very low and muddy as hell all the way to the dam.
Pink and orange are my favorite when it gets muddy.
Yall got me thinking about thawing out a lb or 3 and having the last fish fry.
