Funny story Waldo. Will make a great dog I am sure. One of my best ever dogs was a Yella Lab and a my big ass golden mixed. Hard headed but tough as nails

Ain't most people mutts? Check yer tree. Best bird dogs I've had were pointer/setter mix. Work with what he's got, bring out the best and you'll have a fine dog! I ain't no purist, just a duck hunting, dog training old fool.

Default Labkin Spaniel, Boykinador, whaterever you call it

If anybody finds a litter of these dogs shoot me a message. I have had two of them over the years and both are machines in the swamps and open water, but pretty chill in the house.

Loves the water..........will literally dive down several feet and pick rocks and sticks up off the bottom........I'm talking fully submerged, to the point you can't even see him.
Both of mine were a bit obsessive about retrieving, kinda a good thing if you are dropping a lot of animals into the water. Perfect little mistakes!
