Nonsense, you can do it without a blind.

No blind involved in the skewering of this one. Climbed in the top of a blown down water oak, drew when he was facing away in full strut. 8-yard Texas Heart shot.
That's awesome! What broadheads do you shoot? I've got some grim reapers that I deer hunt with. I've never really wanted to get into bow hunting for them until this year. Would those broadheads I deer hunt with be okay to turkey hunt with?
Any broadhead you would shoot deer with will be fine for a turkey. As with everything, the key is putting it in the right spot. The kill zone on a turkey is about the size of a tennis ball.
No blind birds.
Killed this one at 15 yards with the same 100gr montecs I use for deer. Arrowed him while he half strutted quartering to. Arrow entered through craw, centered heart, hung out of far hip with vanes stuck in thigh bone, and he ran about 40 yards before wilting into the ground. Bled every drop of blood into the craw and looked like cranberry sauce.
Shot this one at 25 yards slightly quartering away and standing. Arrow penetrated about 9-10" and he hit the ground immediately. Bought the Phat head feather dusters because I figured they perform that way and they did, no pass through and will expend all energy in the turkey. They are not expensive either.
