    Default 3 x 100 Challenge...

    Starts tomorrow! The three movements are; push ups (hand release to full lock out), butterfly sit ups (hands touch floor behind the head and must touch toes) and air squats (straight line from ankle to shoulder, hip crease below the knee back to full extension/straight line)

    Push ups...

    Once again the rules are as follows...

    You have from 0000 to 2359 to get your reps in. Partition however you want. We're working the honor system and the only prize you will win or lose is your fitness and strength. Any reps from your daily WOD/work out can count towards your daily total. Back squats, wall balls, front squats, etc are not air squats. Those don't count. Only air squats. Same with GHD's. They don't count towards your butterfly sit ups. I will allow counting of deficit or dynamic push ups as long as the range of motion is hand release and full lock out.

    Some mentioned perhaps keeping up with weight/fat loss. I'll leave that to the individual and encourage everyone to include a paleo 30 day challenge of some sort if you don't already eat clean. Me, I'm done with alcohol for at least a month after tonight.

    Just so I can see a bunch of men working out, I think everyone should post a video of at least one day. Some of the squats will be funny

    Forgive my ignorance....Is the goal to complete these 3 every single day for the new year?

    Don't sweat it. The rules were originally explained in the first thread about the challenge.

    Duke, on day one, tomorrow, you will do one push up, one sit up and one air squat. On day two you will do two of each movement, three reps of each on day 3 and so on until day 100 where you will do 100 reps of each movement.

    Hell yeah. We talked about doing one on day 50, 75 and day 100.

    its a ladder

    Jan 1 do 1 push up, 1 sit up, 1 squat

    Jan 2 do 2 push up, 2 sit up, 2 squat

    jan 3 do 3 push up, 3 sit up, 3 squat

    continue adding one rep per day until you reach April 10, 2014

    100 push up, 100 sit up, 100 squat

    how about, just for fun, at the end everyone post a cumulative time. Just keep a stopwatch on your iPhone and start it when you are working?

    Come on in, the waters fine. The only thing that can possibly get hurt doing this challenge is your ego, if you use proper form.
