    Default Sunday Funday

Been sick since Wednesday and I was about to go crazy from laying around the house all weekend. Took the pup out yesterday evening to a buddy's cornfield along the river for a couple hours. I've been watching birds use these fields for 3 years...turns out the guy that owns them lives a few houses down from me, and we're now beer drinking buddies. It's nice to know people...

They were supposed to be. The forecast was 40-60% chance of rain from Thursday night till last night. It rained 1.25" Thursday night and that was it. It never broke 75* until after 5pm yesterday though. Cloudy and overcast with a nice breeze. First time since about March that I haven't had to run the AC.
