    Default Stihl MS290 Farm Boss

Stihl's #1 selling chainsaw for years running, the MS 290 Farm Boss, is being discontinued. They stopped production on the Farm Boss nearly a year ago and supply is becoming scarce. I only have 4 of them left in stock. Get them while they last.

Stihl MS 290 Farm Boss w/ 20" Bar $399.95 plus tax.

Also, if you buy any MS 300 series saw you will receive a FREE woodsman carry case, a $44.95 value.

Feel free to PM or call with any questions. Thanks

Hate to hear that, just got home from cutting a load with one. Great saw, very easy to crank and run.

I love my MS290. 10 years of hard use and I have no doubt it will last 10+ more!

MS 291, due to EPA regs. It is more fuel efficient and cleaner burning.

I got talked into a Rancher 455 and I wish i'd have bought the stihl.

I have a couple husqvarna's. They make really great boat anchors.

Do you have any ms290's left? I was looking at the 291 and think I would rather try and find a farm boss.

Unfortunately we are sold out. We have sold a good number of 271s as a replacement for the 290 and haven't heard any complaints. I bought a 271 for myself and been pleased with it.

My logging friends in MT say Huski should have stopped with weed eaters. My farm boss has run great for years, even after being run over by a truck and fallen off a tailgate while doing about 40mph. Too bad such a great machine is being discontinued. I bought mine in a pawn shop for $75 about 10 years ago. It was leaking gas, so the guy gave it to me for half of what was on the tag. $.08 worth of hose stopped the leak.
