Took this bird while goose hutning yesterday, I put some teal decoys out on the rim of my goose spread just for grins, we seldom see many teal here...first one I have ever seen...
Please change the limit to three ducks. Thank you, jeff

    Don't believe that's a drake.

Looks like a hen to me too. Congratulations - I can still remember my first BWT taken on the Cooper River in 1977.

You may be right, but I still think it's a drake. I didn't notice the speckled areas in the white above the speculum. Most of the hens in eclipse that I've seen don't show that much white. The don't have near as much blue on the coverts either.

Need a good upclose shot of the bill to be certain. Drakes don't have many freckles on the bill like the hens do.

In all fairness, I have seen hens that show more white than that last pic, but still not as pronounced as the one in muzzy's photo.

Reguardless, congrats Muzzy, your still one up on alot of us this year!!

It was a drake , you cannot see it in the pic, but the feathers behind the blue on the shldr are bright green I have looked it up and asked the local taxidermist, he thought it wasa drake also...

Excellent. Did you bag any other game that day? If so, please provide the same high quality pornography as above.

Looking at the second picture, I agree that it is a drake.
